In this guide, we will show you how to send WhatsApp messages from Google Sheets using the WaWebM Chrome extension.
Install WaWebM Chrome Extension
First, you need to install the WaWebM Chrome extension. Go to the Chrome Web Store and click the "Install Chrome Extension" button.

Open WhatsApp Web
After successful installation, go to web.whatsapp.com. Click the Sender button on the top left corner of the page to open the WaWebM pane. This will be shown on the right hand side of your WhatsApp Web.

Create Your Google Sheet
Head to sheets.google.com and create a blank sheet to create a new file. After which, a new Google Sheets spreadsheet will be opened.

Add Phone Numbers and Names
Create the Phone Number and Name columns as the list of people you want to send messages to. Make sure to include the country code for each phone number.

Download as CSV
After filling out the sheet, click File → Download → Comma Separated Values (.CSV). This will download the file of phone numbers and names in CSV format.

Upload CSV to WaWebM
Go back to web.whatsapp.com, click the Sender button to open the WaWebM pane. Click the Upload CSV button, select the file you downloaded, and map the numbers column where the contact details will be based from.

Send Your Messages
Create the message in the Message field. You can use variables like {{name}} for personalization. When all is set, click Send WhatsApp to send messages to each phone number in your contact list.
